Southern Water has published its Draft Business Plan which includes its plans for maintaining and improving services to its four million customers during 2010 to 2015.
The company’s five-year draft business plan was open for public consultation until October 31, 2008 after being submitted to industry regulator Ofwat.
The final plan will be produced in Spring 2009 and Ofwat will make a final decision on prices in November 2009.
The draft plan details the level of spending required across the company’s water and wastewater operations in Kent, Sussex, Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, and the effect this would have on customers’ bills.
This draft business plan follows the publication of our Strategic Direction Statement (SDS), which we consulted upon last year, which set out our plans for the next 25 years. This Draft Business Plan takes the first steps towards meeting the goals set out in that document.
