In 2008 we published our Draft Business Plan which included plans for maintaining and improving services to our four million customers during 2010 to 2015.

After public consultation, our plan was submitted to industry regulator Ofwat. As a result, in November 2009 Ofwat set limits on the prices we can charge customers and the sum we can invest to maintain and improve services.

This draft business plan follows the publication of our Strategic Direction Statement (SDS), which we consulted upon in 2008, which set out our plans for the next 25 years. This Draft Business Plan takes the first steps towards meeting the goals set out in that document.
