Southern Water is nearing completion of the massive 2005-2010 programme of investment to maintain and improve services.

The company already leads the industry with delivery of its capital expenditure improvement programme worth £2 billion between 2005-2010. During 2008-2009 we spent £271 million on capital projects, following the previous year's total of £397 million.
