The Commercial Drainage and Water Search aims to provide a more comprehensive service to conveyancers managing commercial property transactions. The plans provided as part of this package will be in A3 format rather than A4. 
The following information is included to provide this more comprehensive service to commercial customers:

• A record of all Southern Water trade effluent consents held by the current owners of the property in question. This includes any trade effluent consents, acknowledgements of a trade discharge and whether the property currently holds an Environment Agency Consent to discharge Dangerous Substances.
• Location details for all meters situated on site (only available in Southern Water supply areas).
• A printout of all manholes and invert levels on the site, supported by a map showing locations. 
• A guide to developers is provided, outlining Southern Water’s services to commercial customers who may wish to develop their site.

Please note: all information contained in this report is provided with liability cover of £2 million. If you commission a CON29 DW residential search for a commercial property, cover is limited to £5,000.

The search is normally available in 5 working days, but a 4 hour service is also available.
