A family of cartoon characters is bringing the water story to life in an educational booklet for youngsters.
The Water Explorers tells the story of heroes Mr Drink-It and Mr Save-It as they set out on an adventure to find out more about water.
The intrepid duo meet friends on the way, including Reggie Rat, who teaches them about the water cycle and
water for health.
The water characters also appear in a brochure about Climate Change and the role of Southern Water in managing the effects of global warming.
‘Blue Earth’ talks through the impact on water resources and flood risks and what we are doing to manage our carbon footprint, including tips on water and energy efficiency.
Learn to Swim with Southern Water is a fun booklet that contains plenty of advice about how to stay safe around water.
It includes a short story about a child's first experiences of learning to swim along with more details about the Learn to Swim scheme and its supporters.
As well as being online, the booklets are available in print for schools, groups and organisations. Email communications@southernwater.co.uk to find out more.
