Saw Doctors the right
medicine for Charity Day

Saw Doctors

'One of the great live bands' to
give fund-raising efforts a tonic

Every year Southern Water raises thousands of pounds for charity by organising a number of popular events – from sponsored golf days to a grand glittering ball. More than £600,000 has been raised in the past four years alone.

Our next charity event takes place on Saturday, October 2 when we will be organising the popular Irish Race Day at Fontwell Park. Seven charities will benefit.

On that day you can enjoy the thrills and spills of jump racing and see a free open air concert - given by a group which Radio 2 presenter Chris Evans describes as “one of the great live bands”.

For £20 you can spend an afternoon at the pretty West Sussex track which has been voted the Best Small Racecourse in the South for a record-breaking 20 consecutive years. And after the racing, Irish rock band The Saw Doctors will play live. Their UK and US tours are constantly sold out and the band has long been a favourite at festivals such as Glastonbury.

Southern Water will be sponsoring the band’s performance to boost attendance at our Charity Race Day. For the past three years we have held a Charity Race Day at Fontwell Park – raising more than £230,000 for seven charities. £1 of the gate money from every ticket sold on the day is donated to charity.

Advance booking entitles you to a £3 discount, reducing the price to £17. Entry for those aged 15 and under is free. You can reserve your discounted price ticket(s) by clicking here.
