Tunbridge Wells flood protection scheme

A £700,000 flood protection scheme in Tunbridge Wells has entered its final phase.

We have built new sewers in Victoria Road and St James Road and we will now build two manholes in Sandrock Road, at the junction of St James Road. This will allow the new pipes to connect to the existing network.

We are laying a new sewer in St James Road from Beulah Road up to the junction of Sandrock Road.

The scheme will reduce the amount of stormwater entering the existing sewers, reducing the risk of them overflowing and causing flooding in the local area.

In order to complete this work as quickly as possible, contractor 4Delivery will be working from 7am to 7pm, Monday to Saturday.
