As the work progresses on the Cleaner Seas for Sussex scheme the project team shares its highs and lows through site diaries.

With much of the country covered in a white blanket, Peacehaven is no different – the green roof which covers part of the works along with the other processes and tanks has been covered with snow. Work is continuing and you may have noticed the stack has now been erected.

You may have also seen the 'eyelashes' being added to the pumping station at Marine Drive now the zinc roof is complete. At Portobello the wall, which runs along-side the footpath, is nearing completion. This wall has been constructed using flint to reflect local traditional building techniques.
