Our current plans

Under a £1.8 billion programme lasting until 2015, we are implementing a range of major improvements for customers and communities across our region.

The improvements will:

  • Safeguard water supplies
  • Improve water quality
  • Protect the environment
  • Reduce leakage
  • Help prevent flooding
  • Cut pollution incidents
The scale of improvements is huge – equivalent to £1,000 for each property in our service area.

The average household water bill for our customers for 2012-13 is £416, made up of an average water bill of £149 and a wastewater bill of £267.

We have a range of plans in place which outline how we plan to deliver water and wastewater services for customers between 2010 and 2035:

We are currently updating our plans for 2015 to 2040. Visit our engagement section to find out more and have your say.
