Southern Water is a key employer in the South East of England with almost 2,000 people working across Kent, Sussex, Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.
Our headquarters are in Worthing, West Sussex. We also have offices in Brighton, in East Sussex, Otterbourne, in Hampshire, and Chatham, in Kent, as well as hundreds of operational sites throughout the region.
We supply the highest quality drinking water to two million customers and remove and recycle wastewater from four million customers.
To do this we manage:
- 370 wastewater treatment works
- 2,300 pumping stations
- 39,000km of sewers
- 94 water treatment works
- 13,700km of water mains
Between 2010 and 2015, we are investing £1.8 billion to further improve our water and wastewater treatment works, water supply works and infrastructure.
We are working with a range of contractors and specialists to secure water services and plan for the future.
We also rely on our in-house friendly and professional teams who help our four million customers every day of the year either on the telephone or in the community.
