There are a number of different ways to pay your bill, such as Direct Debit, payment card, paying online or by telephone.

There are a number of different ways to pay your bill, such as Direct Debit, payment card, paying online or by telephone.

  1. Direct Debit 
    • The most convenient way to pay your bill is by Direct Debit. It's easy to sign up for this online.

  2. BillPay 
  3. 24-hour automated telephone service 
    • It's easy and quick to pay your bill by debit or credit card using our 24-hour automated phone service on 0845 270 1508 which works by voice recognition.

      You can also tell us you're moving home, set up a Direct Debit, apply for a payment card, request a copy of your bill or tell us you've recently paid your bill or will be paying it soon.

  4. Payment card 
    • If you don't have a bank or building society account, you can still spread your payments over 12 months using a payment card.

      You can request a payment card online and use it at post offices or any shop displaying a PayPoint sign.

  5. PayPoint 
    • You can pay your bill, including the use of payment cards, at any shop with a PayPoint terminal. Please take your bill with you.

  6. By post 
    • To make a single payment by cheque, please make the cheque payable to Southern Water, and ensure you enclose your payment slip, writing your payment reference number on the back of the cheque.

      Please note, we do not issue receipts for cheques or postal orders unless you send us the bill.

  7. By telephone or online 
    • If you wish to pay your bill in a single payment using the telephone or online, please ensure you quote your payment reference number without any spaces.

      Our bank sort code is 57-70-63 and our bank account number is 00000000.

  8. At a bank or post office 
    • You can pay your bill free of charge at any NatWest bank, post office or at your own bank (excludes Abbey and Halifax).

  9. Difficulties with paying 
    • If you're worried about paying your bill, we'll do all we can to help.

      We'll always take into account your personal circumstances and try to come to a mutually agreeable payment arrangement.
