It was a year in which record-breaking initiatives enabled us to achieve one of the lowest number of serious pollution incidents of any water and wastewater company. We completed some major schemes to improve our environmental performance and continued to supply drinking water that is among the best in Europe. We also recorded success rates of up to 100 per cent for customer service, maintained our position as the leading water and wastewater company for tackling leaks and won many national awards.
