Our plans to secure reliable water supplies for our customers during the next 25 years were given the green light by the Government.

The plans include metering homes, reducing leakage, developing new water sources and managing the demand for water. This will help us to face the challenges of housing growth and the effects of climate change.

We made tackling leakage a priority during the icy winter which caused a record number of mains to burst as the ground froze and then thawed.
