Engineering & Construction

Within Engineering and Construction you will acquire a complete overview of the company and its infrastructure. You’ll be presented with complex and fascinating challenges, working with teams in every area of the business to highlight improvements, helping us to determine, analyse and find solutions.

Our Graduate Programme is a fantastic opportunity for people interested in playing a vital role in their community, who want to safeguard our natural resources for future generations. 

We are looking for Graduates with Degrees in Maths and or Finance, Physics or Chemistry, Environmental Sciences, Ecology, Project Management and Engineering (Civil, Hydraulic, Mechanical or Electrical). For Engineers, we offer full support in gaining your Chartership status.

Corporate Services

Our Corporate Services functions work to support the whole business to maintain our financial, strategic planning, governance, quality assurance and procurement services.

Graduate openings in these areas:

Procurement: Responsible for effective procurement management and governance across the organisation.

For this role, we are looking for a Degree level qualification in Operations or Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Purchasing Management, Business Studies, Business Management or Business Administration, Engineering, Quantity Surveying or Construction Management 

Strategy & Regulation: All water companies are subject to regulation by Ofwat, who set limits on the prices we charge and scrutinise our performance.

This area includes developing the economic case for investments we need to make, analysing our efficiency and ensuring we have the right incentives to deliver what our customers need.

For this role, we are looking for a degree level qualification in Economics (single or joint hours) or a closely related subject .
