Find out if you're a Southern Water customer, check your water quality, or explore our interactive map to see what's going on in your area
We're investing in this area to reduce bursts and improve water supply. Recently the area was left without water following a burst main and we want to help prevent this in future.
Update - 16 November
Our work has started at the southern end of Ashey Road and will be progressing northwards towards to Ryde. Once we reach the northern end of Ashey Road, work will continue along a short section of Swanmore Road then along a section of West Street, finishing at the junction with A3054 Queen’s Road.
We are working up to 7 days per week, but may not be visible at all times to get the work completed by summer 2018.
Working in Ashey Road, we will be doing all we can to minimise disruption as we are able, with a rolling-road closure and traffic diversions in operation.
The work along Swanmore Road and West Street will then be carried out under temporary two-way traffic lights, allowing traffic to continue to use these roads.
Access for residents and businesses within our area of work will be maintained at all times.
We would urge all road users to take notice of the road closure and diversion route signs while we carry out this vital work.
If you have any questions, please email the Capital PR team on email@example.com quoting PRN 629621.
