Exit statement

On 25 October 2016 Southern Water applied to exit the non-household retail market. As a result, from 1 April 2017, our non-household customers will transfer to Business Stream for the services they currently receive from Southern Water.

Final bill

As from 1 April 2017, unless you have notified us otherwise, your Southern Water account and the services you received from us have been transferred to Business Stream. Business Stream are responsible for supplying these services.

If you are a Trade Effluent customer, you will receive your final Southern Water bill in April.

Ways to pay your final bill

There are a number of different ways to pay your bill such as Direct Debit, paying online or by telephone.

  1. Direct Debit – single payment 
    • The most convenient way to pay your bill is by Direct Debit, you can sign up for this online.
  2. BillPay 
    • You can pay your bill online with BillPay.
  3. By post 
    • You can pay your bill in one single payment by cheque.

      Please make the cheque payable to Southern Water, and ensure you enclose your payment slip, writing your payment reference number on the back of the cheque.

  4. By telephone or online 
    • If you wish to pay your bill in one single payment by telephone or online, please ensure you quote your payment reference number without any spaces.

      Our bank sort code is 57-70-63 and our Bank account number is 00000000.
  5. At a bank or post office 
    • You can pay your bill free of charge at any NatWest bank, post office or at your own bank (excludes Abbey and Halifax).
