Free leak fixes for 2018

We’ll be fixing leaks between customers' properties and our water mains for free in 2018.

Homeowners are usually responsible for repairs to a property’s supply pipe, but we’re offering one fix per property this year - to help save precious water in our water-stressed region.

How to get a free pipe repair

It’s quick and easy to make use of this service in 2018. To be entitled to a repair, you’ll need to be the homeowner and live at the property (this offer isn’t available to landlords).

The leak must also be external, on a pipe under 50m long and not obstructed by steps, trees, ponds, buildings or something similar.

  • If you think you have a leak, phone us on 0330 303 0368
  • If you meet the criteria above, we’ll come to assess the repair
  • If we can make the repair, you’ll need to sign our agreement before we start

After we’ve fixed your leak

After we’ve repaired your pipework, we’ll reinstate the surface. Where the surface is grassed or slab/block paving we’ll carefully remove it during our excavation work and re-use the existing materials.

Please be aware that where surfaces require new concrete or tarmac, this will not look exactly the same as before due to the effects of weathering and the varied colours of materials.

Where surfaces were already damaged or require specialist finishes, customers may also take the opportunity to buy new materials or employ a contractor to finish the work.
