Special guests celebrated the start of construction of Southern Water’s £63 million treatment works in Woolston, Southampton.


More than 6,000 tons of wet wipes and other sewer blockers made their way into Southern Water’s sewer network between April and November 2014 – the equivalent in weight of 2,000 hippos.


Southern Water is investing £85,000 at its Sea Road pumping station in Littlehampton, improving the resilience of the site following problems last year.
