We’re now in the process of finalising our planning application for our Chichester pipeline scheme, following a period of public consultation.
Thank you to all who took the time to learn more about our plans.
We’ve considered all feedback and would now like to share our final proposals with you, ahead of submitting our application to West Sussex County Council.
The project team will be available on:
Wed, November 8, between 2.30 and 6.30pm
At the Assembly Rooms (city council offices), North Street, Chichester, PO19 1LQ (this time we’ll be upstairs).
We’re due to submit our planning application in late November. After this time, you’ll be able to view and comment on our full proposals via the council’s planning portal.
We’re in the process of requesting planning permission for a new 10km sewer pipeline and upgrade and expansion of our existing sewer network. This will include three new pumping stations to take away and treat wastewater from proposed new homes, identified in Chichester District Council’s Local Plan. The proposed pipe will run from the west of Chichester, across the north of the city and through to Tangmere, where it will connect to our Tangmere Wastewater Treatment Works.
