Metered charges

Following the installation of your water meter, you will be required to pay water service charges on a measured basis.

Your metered accounts will incorporate an element of both standing and volumetric charges.

They will be issued twice yearly in accordance with our meter reading schedules, and are payable in full upon receipt. Find out more information about ways to pay your bill.

Please remember that unmetered charges are payable for the period prior to your meter being installed

If your property is connected to the mains drainage system, your wastewater charge will also be determined by reference to the volume of water supplied.

We appreciate that not all water supplied will be returned directly to the sewer, and for this reason wastewater volumetric charges will be calculated based upon 95% of the volume of water supplied.

It should be noted that standing charges increase in line with the volume of water supplied and volume of wastewater returned to the sewerage system.
