We held four county-based stakeholder workshops in autumn 2016. Participants learnt more about our current Business Plan, reviewed our performance and helped shape the priorities for our future plans.
Over 160 people attended the events including representatives from local councils, environmental groups, business associations and regulators.
A range of topics were discussed including our future business priorities, sewer flooding, water resources, planning for future growth and bathing water quality.
We are grateful for the valuable feedback provided at the workshops. This will be used to help improve our services and identify opportunities for closer collaboration with others.
Outcomes from the workshops will form a key part of the work to develop our next Business Plan (2020 – 25), Water Resources Management Plan (2020 – 45) and Drought Plan (2018 – 23). The findings will also feed into our regular stakeholder panel discussions.
We plan to hold workshops on an annual basis to ensure we have continued engagement with stakeholders across the region.
