Final repair works to our Littlehampton sewer begins

Work to repair one of our main sewers in Sea Road, Littlehampton will be happening on 20 and 21 November 2019.

We completed the first phase of the permanent repair in October and this is will be the final part of the work.

You may notice increased activity and tanker lorry movements in Sea Road, Littlehampton between 8pm and 06.30am.

We'd originally planned to complete the second phase of the repair on 13 &14 November 2019, however this was rescheduled due to concerns about prevailing weather conditions.

We need to complete the repairs overnight as the sewer flows will be significantly reduced.

We have spoken with West Sussex County Council and agreed a closure of Sea Road, Littlehampton, adjacent with the entrance to East Beach Car Park through to the junction with Hendon Avenue, Littlehampton. This will be our working area for materials and tanker lorries.

We apologise for any disturbance this may cause, we’ll try very hard to keep any disruption or inconvenience to a minimum.

Thank you for your understanding and patience while we undertake this essential work.
