We published a draft water resources plan in March, to show how we plan to keep your taps flowing for the next 50 years.
We need to make big changes to the way we supply water, so we can leave more water in the environment and get ready for climate change and growth.
This includes investing in recycling your wastewater and desalination (cleaning seawater for drinking water).
We’re also part of a solution for the South East which could see a new reservoir built in Havant – providing more water, community facilities and wildlife habitats.
And we’re focusing on helping people reduce what they use and reducing leaks.
We held a consultation on this draft plan between March and May and are now reviewing all the feedback.
We’ll publish an updated plan in September 2018, and show how we’ve taken your views into account.
You can still read the consultation document below.
