We are working to replace 1km of water main that serves Worthing Crematorium in West Sussex to reduce the risk of bursts and ensure we can continue to provide a constant supply of high quality drinking water.
Work started on 25 February 2017 and the entrance road reduced to one car width.
Update April 26
The new main is in the ground and should be operational this weekend. If your property is to be connected to the new pipe, we will need to disconnect your water supply for a short time. We will give you at least 48 hours notice before we do this.
We'll then begin the permanent reinstatement of the road, week commencing May 1.
Our construction partner MGJV – a joint venture between Morrison Utility Services and Galliford Try - will be completing the work on our behalf. Working hours will be between 8am and 6pm but the contractor may not always be visible on site.
We apologise for any inconvenience this wok has caused and would like to thank you for your patience.
