Flood Prevention Work at Pier Road, Portsmouth

“We’re carrying out urgent flood protection work in Southsea area of Portsmouth over the next few weeks. Over this time you may see our teams in the area and we’re sorry for the disruption and inconvenience this will cause.

“The work will help protect Southsea and the Old Portsmouth area from flooding during heavy rainfall. We are installing an overland pipe in case of extreme weather during the works.

“We’re doing everything we can to minimise the impact of this, however some of our work will mean parts of Pembroke Gardens and Governor’s Green will be impacted temporarily.
