Saving water in your business
Water is a precious resource. Every year the population of the South East grows, but the amount of available water remains the same. There are plenty of things you and your business can do to help us save water.
Due to climate change and population growth, it’s estimated that we’ll need an extra 1.1 billion litres of water a day by 2040 just to keep up with demand. With so much at stake, it’s critical that we all change how we understand and value water.
That’s why we’ve introduced our Target 100 programme – a commitment to our customers to help them reduce personal consumption to an average of 100 litres of water a day by 2040, and a 9% reduction in business demand by 2037. Businesses around our region also have a duty to save water, and we’re here to help you do it.
