We have awarded a £33 million five-year contract to Novuna Vehicle Solutions to transition its existing fleet of diesel vans and company cars to electric and plug-in hybrids.
Novuna will also be delivering an enhanced quality and responsiveness of fleet management services, as well as becoming the go-to for expertise and provision of all our mobile plant.
The partnership with Novuna will also include providing electric charging points at 36 work sites and at relevant employees’ homes across the UK, with the first installations scheduled to be at our Durrington and Falmer offices.
Moveable rapid chargers will also be rolled out across our sites to enable us to begin using electric vehicles, while permanent infrastructure is designed and installed.
Martin Lock, Fleet Manager at Southern Water said:
“Novuna’s commitment to sustainability aligns with our company’s ambitions. Their expertise in decarbonisation, especially across commercial vehicles, will be vital as we design and build the charging infrastructure required to move our fleet towards net zero.”
Jon Lawes, Managing Director, Novuna Vehicle Solutions said:
“We’re proud to partner once again with Southern Water and play a key role in supporting their decarbonisation agenda. With a robust infrastructure rollout and dedicated support across all fleet classes, we’re committed to deliver a real impact and value to Southern Water demonstrating our unique end-to-end capabilities to future proof their business operations.”

· 200 company cars
· 205 other specialist vehicles, including fork-lifts and trucks.
The contract starts on 26 June 2025 and lasts for five years.
