Your Water Matters events
These events are our chance to get out into the community and meet our customers face to face. Our team will update you on the improvements and investments we're making in your area and answer any questions.
What are 'Your Water Matters' events?
These events are held in communities throughout the South East, where customers can meet our team, learn more about the challenges we face together, and discover how we’re working to make sure we all have Water for Life. Each event is a chance to ask questions and find out more about how we’re improving our performance and supporting our customers.
Most importantly, we want to be out in the community to answer your questions and understand what matters most to you.
Keep an eye on our social media and latest news to find out more about our next event.
For any questions, please email yourwatermatters@southernwater.co.uk.
Why do we hold them?
We know our customers want to know more about how we’re investing in the future of their water and protecting our environment. That’s why we’re hitting the road to meet you. From understanding how water is treated and supplied, to addressing what we’re doing to reduce storm overflows, these events are part of our commitment to transparency, education, and action.
What to expect?
We’ll have teams from across the business to talk to you about:
- How we’re spending money in your area to improve the reliability of our network now and into the future.
- The nature-based solutions we’re introducing in the area to reduce the number of storm overflows across the region.
- Financial support available if you’re struggling to pay your bills.
- What’s being done to prevent blockages, pollutions, and flooding in your area.
- Our extensive community and schools’ education programme.
- Our proposed business plans for 2025-30.
Who can attend?
Everyone is welcome! Whether you’re a local resident, a business owner, a student, or someone who simply cares about water, we’d love to see you there.
