What if I see people ignoring the rules?
We know most people are doing their bit to save water at this time and we want to thank you for playing your part. If you’re concerned about water being used in a way that doesn’t follow the rules, please let us know using the confidential form below. This may include:
- using a hosepipe to water a garden
- filling a paddling pool or swimming pool
- washing a car or windows with a hosepipe.
We always aim to educate first, but in serious or repeated cases, we may need to take action if restrictions are being ignored. By working together, we can make sure there’s enough water for everyone – now and in the future.
If you are a blue badge holder, on our Priority Services Register, or our WaterSure tariff for medical reasons, then the restrictions will not apply, and you will automatically be exempt.
