Come and talk to us about bathing water in Worthing

We’re inviting residents to join us at a Bathing Water Drop-In session at Worthing Town Hall, where you can hear updates, ask questions and share your views on the local coastline.

Where: Worthing Town Hall, Gordon Room

When: Thursday 21 May

Time: Drop in any time between 1pm and 6pm

Southern Water will be joined by the Environment Agency and Worthing Borough Council for this informal session focused on bathing water in Worthing.

Why we’re holding this session

We know how important the coastline is to the community, and that people want clear, straightforward information about bathing water quality and what’s being done to improve it.

This drop-in session is an opportunity to have open conversations, hear the latest updates, better understand the work taking place across Worthing and find out more about joining the Worthing Bathing Water Community Group.

What you can do at the session

This is a chance to speak directly with the teams involved. You’ll be able to:

  • Talk to teams from each organisation.
  • Ask questions about local bathing water.
  • Hear about current work and future plans.
  • Share anything you’ve noticed along the coastline.
  • Working together to improve bathing water.

Bringing organisations together in one place creates a simple and accessible way for people to get answers and stay informed. It also helps us listen to local experiences and ensure that community feedback continues to shape our work.

Phil Cresswell Nash, Bathing Water Partnership Manager, said: We want people to feel informed and able to ask anything they need to. These sessions are about being open, listening to the community and explaining the work happening to improve bathing water in Worthing.
